  • Many images are utilized for Der Volksstuhl. The domestic style, featuring dogs, horses, landscapes and here the classical, where great works of art are 'digitized' onto canvas. They are also extracted, to an extent - the whole image isn't used, just the central motif. Jean Francois Millets¹ Angelus and Gerhard ter Borch's² Woman Writing a Letter are here - with her background in painting, Vanilla Beer is naturally drawn to such reproductions.

Der Volksstuhl is currently on display in Vanilla Beers’ Gallery, Esperaza, Aude, France.
